In order to determine if you are able to upgrade to 16 inch tires on your Airstream Travel Trailer, I first recommend checking to make sure you will have enough space around the existing tires to use a larger size.

We don't have a way to look up exactly what axle you need based on what you listed but we can still help.
When picking out an axle for a trailer you'll need to know the overall length of it from hub face to hub face as well as the distance between the spring seat centers to pick out correct size. You'd also need to know the capacity. Based on your GVWR 6k or 7k axles would easily work fine.

For your 2007 Airstream Safari Travel Trailer, I would go with the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control # C17499. This has a tongue weight range of 500-800lbs and max towing weight of 8,000lbs.
